A dream came true for me in September, 1999. As I traveled to Tallinn, Estonia, and shared music with my friends at the Baltic Mission Center, I saw Jesus in their faces. Another dream is coming true as I complete this recording, share it with the world, and donate proceeds to the Baltic Mission Project.

Ship of Mission was inspired in 1998 by the building design of the Baltic Mission Center. The Place describes what the Baltic Methodist Seminary hopes to be for God’s Kingdom. From Darkness to Light was inspired by Olga Batova (Goyainova) who teaches as the seminary. Her book (of the same title) describes her journey from darkness to the light of Christ. Could You Be a Barnabas? was written when I visited Kuressaare, Estonia. I call the remaining songs “Sounds from the Sea of Life.” They reflect God’s presence and the tremendous difference Christ makes in a life…

My prayer for you as you listen to these Sounds is that you will be blessed with God’s Light and Presence. May He guide you safely on your Sea of Life.
