Jeff Marcus is a guitarist/instrumentalist/psychiatrist from Madison, WI who has released his second solo CD, "Swept Away," in 2002. This CD features all-instrumental, primarily guitar-based music, with a goal of creating different moods and textures within the songs.

A wide range of guitar sounds are utilized, with a strong emphasis on phrasing and subtlety. All instruments, with the exception of drums, are performed by Jeff Marcus.
