Val is a liturgical composer of contemporary psalm settings, canticles, sacred songs, a singer & guitarist and publishes her work with JHN Liturgical Music, producing CD''s that focus especially on Morning & Evening Prayer - closely based on The Prayer of the Church. She has recorded a solo CD ''Light Divine'' produced by Colin Mawby with Richard Lewis and is published by Kevin Mayhew. The latest prayer CD released in 2007 ''Loving God'' was recorded with Fr. Anthony Storey. She continues to work as a pastoral musician in the central parishes of the Diocese of Middlesbrough and is a member of Bishop''s Council for Liturgy for the Middlesbrough Diocese (UK).
