Singer/Songwriter was born in Marshall, Texas and grew-up in the small town of Timpson. He has lived most of his adult life in and aroung Houston, although time was spent in Tulsa, Memphis, and San Pedro, Belize. His music has been influenced by Jerry Jeff Walker, Willie Nelson, Charlie Pride, B.W. Stevenson, Frank Sinatra, Jimmy Buffet, Bob Wills and John Denver. "For Michele" is a collection of songs written and performed by Crawford. The album is dedicated to the memory of his oldest daughter whom he lost at the age of fourteen.
