As of Summer 2008 Marquis (Melody) is back in Kingston, Jamaica working to complete a new Single release project that features two entirely new riddims created by Marquis Melody and Majesty band the first of which is to be released in USA during August 2008. Titled "Miserable" the first Riddim also features full length tracks from famed artists Turbulence and Lutan Fyah. Marquis sings the title track of the release ... Turbulence sings a bit of a lover''s style track titled "Your Eyes Tell A Tale" while Lutan Fyah kicks it down some serrious lyrics with culture in a version titled "Dem Still Search."

Marquis Melody and Majesty band are actively performing his debut album project titled “Straight From the Heart” at West Coast USA venues. The album features a variety of reggae music culture styles including Lovers Rock, Roots, Culture and Dancehall recorded almost entirely at Tuff Gong studio in Jamaica. Crowd favorites include roots & culture single release "Sunshine" and lover''s tune "I Need To Know." Be on the lookout for some great uplifting music by Marquis Melody and Majesty!
