Details:
Augie Haas is a nationally recognized jazz trumpeter and doctoral student at the prestigious Frost School of Music at the University of Miami. Augie is currently the lead trumpet player in the award winning Miami Concert Jazz Band as well as the South Florida Jazz Orchestra. Augie formed “The South Nine Ensemble” and released his first album in 2007 called “The Llama”.

Augie has played and recorded with music legends such as Paul Anka, Peter Nero and the Philly Pops Orchestra, Doc Severinsen, Arturo Sandoval, Rhianna, Iggy Pop and Jet. He can also be seen on the popular band Umphrey’s McGee latest DVD titled “Wrapped Around Chicago”.

In his latest project “Baby Jazz”, Augie applies his unique, award winning trumpet style to classic children lullabies. Creating a soothing, calming environment for kids to enjoy during playtime, rest time or anytime.
