From Larry Karol... "An ending flows into a new beginning..." When we face an ending, it is hard to see beyond it, much less celebrate the opportunity of a new beginning. The last few years of my life have included the deaths of my parents, the graduation of our son from high school, and my reaching the milestone age of 50. What has emerged from these changes is a new awareness and a growing appreciation for the ever-evolving cycles in our lives. It is said that "that which grows, never grows old," and as I reach for newer challenges and engage in creative pursuits, I am filled with positive wonder at the unimagined possibilities that life has to offer. It is my deep privilege to share these songs with you, and I hope that through them, you will connect on a deeper level with the contentment and comfort that Judaism and faith can offer us, and that they will inspire you to allow each completion to flow into a new beginning."
