The Field Goal (AJ Hochhalter and Blake Morris), started at the University of Kentucky in the spring of 2007. Working as DJ''s in the Lexington area, a variety of genres influenced their music: A fusion of Hip-Hop beats and original sampling. All music is composed, written, recorded, and mixed by the two members of the "Unit". The experimental nature of the music gives the listener a unique experience as they flip through each track of their freshman album "The Kickoff". Promised to be a unique experience, The Field Goal Unit delivers a fresh look on Hip-Hop and its future collisions with other genres.
