Kobby is a jazz pianist, keyboardist, writer, arranger, and producer/engineer.

Born in ghana, kobby grew up in a very musical family, and started playing piano at an early age, taking classical piano around age 5 for almost 10 years. Kobby started out a career in music as a young composer and part of a cultural group to represent Ghana at the International Year of the child conference in Sophia, Bulgaria, 1978.

Kobby started getting involved in studio work and production and engineering in the mid 80''s. Kobby produced his first reggae album "No Mixing Console Required" in 1990.
