Kyle Dawkins is a critically acclaimed guitarist, composer and artist residing in Athens, Georgia. His music is a unique and spirited amalgam of avant-folk, contemporary classical and rock, rooted squarely in a Southern minimalistic framing. Kyle received his degree in classical guitar performance from the University of Georgia and has released two recordings on Athens-based label Solponticello Records. In addition to teaching and composing, Kyle is a performing member of renowned chamber ensemble the Georgia Guitar Quartet.
