This CD is the first of the “Piano In The Raw” recordings, designed to recreate the intimate experience of a live piano performance for your listening pleasure.

The music featured on this CD was spontaneously composed (or improvised) on June 17, 2008 at the 1794 Meetinghouse in New Salem, MA.

The intention behind this CD was one of peace & contentment, an offering of open space and timeless perfection without judgment or expectations—the very things we too often forget or neglect to give ourselves, yet so desperately need to survive these trying times. Indeed, beauty & passion (but most especially, beautiful music) are not only precious commodities, but also a necessary medicine to help us relieve the stress & tension of our daily lives.


Bio:
Adam’s experiences as a musician transcend the boundaries of a typical classical pianist. Over the past 20 years he''s studied classical piano, voice and composition while exploring the facets & forms of different styles of modern music. In 2003 his focus began to shift from performing to composing; he’s since released six full-length CD’s of his own compositions, with several more recordings to be released in 2008. In addition to his extensive performance schedule as a classical pianist, Adam works as a freelance composer, arranger, multi-instrumentalist, studio musician, producer & consultant throughout New England.
