(to conjure the dead) a small six-sided room with mirrored walls and ceiling. This was used as a way to communicate with the dead. Spirits would come through the mirrors and contact the channeler the danger came when any spirit can come through even if it wasn''t invited.

In 2008 be prepared to enter the PSYCHOMANTHIUM as the 4-piece from New York unleash their debut release ''BLUEPRINT FOR MURDER'' on No Joke Records. The roots of the band dates back to 2004 when the name was used for a project which included Derek Neglect (NEGLECT, THE GUILTY PARTY, ARKHAM13), Anthony Arkham (ARKHAM 13) & Martin Missy (PROTECTOR). The sound contained a toxic mixture of old school speed and thrash and the band inked a deal with a record label that went defunct shortly before the release.

Following a brief hiatus, the band woke up some past spirits and dusted off the cobwebs of today''s metal sound by bringing you ''BLUEPRINT FOR MURDER''; a . The PSYCHOMANTHIUM sound combines old school metal with a fresh twist of the modern take on heavy metal music and is assured to deja-vu the hell out of every metal-head that experiences this release. Nothing trendy, nothing "NU" no Americanized versions of Swedish guitar riffs, no super double-bass and grinds in all directions, and definitely nothing "EMO".
