"The odd part is this... I have always just been an entertainer- jazz, dance/variety bands, playing wedding receptions and things. And then one day this song literally woke me up in the middle of the night. The image and sound in my mind was so strong that I got out of bed at 4:00 am and wrote it down... so "Blind Eye" was the first song I ever wrote, after singing other people''s music for 20 years. It really seemed to come from somewhere else... where, I don''t know. But I completely feel the emotion and the message of this song, and it is very, very powerful."
