Miss Aimee Leigh Cousino comes from a big family of musicians and teachers. She has been playing stringed instruments since the age of five. Her first music gig was a Suzuki violin recital in 1977 for which she was paid in Sweet Tarts.
She says she''s never happier than when she is playing and singing with kids, which is evidenced by her constant smile and warmth in the classroom, at parties, and family events. Aimee is a former pre-school teacher with over seven years experience in the world of children''s music. Her first children''s music CD "Can You Come Out and Play?" is a collection of songs that reflects Aimee''s diverse musical interests including jazz, blues, bluegrass and traditional styles.
