Having been acclaimed as one of Manchester’s finest bands by Danny McNamara, Bye Bye Johnny went on to open his club night The Aftershow alongside The Ting Tings and The Magic Numbers. More recently they have been invited to appear live on Clint Boon’s XFM Music:Response and featured on Channel M as a band to watch.

Their first 2 demos won the ManchesterMusic demo of the week, whilst also winning support from BBC6 Music’s Tom Robinson.

Their live shows have gained notoriety amongst the music press, with BBC Manchester likening it to ’that feeling that surrounded early Oasis fans when someone had given a voice to youth again.’
