Originally from Nesmith- Kings Tree South Carolina, James formed this group in the 1970''s after being the lead singer for many years with the well known gospel group he also help create called "The Gospel Soulettes of Philadelphia Pennsylvania" .
James and Gospel Helpers contribute all of their success to GOD, and realize that GOD''S Love and messages for mankind must be spread from us all . Only then will we have peace throughout our world.
James and the groups appreciation and enthusiam for all styles of past and present gospel music has only grown throughout the years. On the groups latest project "The Road To Love ", James and the Helpers display this love through various musical styles.
