Details:
This Heart Is Reserved currently consists of just me! I am a British singer-songwriter. I compose on guitar and keyboards and find that my songs vary greatly in mood and style depending on which instrument I compose on.
The songs on "Sour Grapes" were composed on guitar and were triggered off by a relationship that just fizzled out altogether. Songs of disappointment played on 6 and 12-string guitars cry out for country music and so, much of this collection belongs to the raw end of contemporary country music ("septic country" as I like to call it) or is inspired by it.
I hope you can find time to give it a listen. You might find it interesting to listen to my "The Susan Album" collection, which is a collection of songs I wrote immediately after the songs on "Sour Grapes" but using the keyboard to compose on, just to compare the different styles.
