Malia

Malia Elliott is half of the award-winning musical team, Leon & Malia. Recording stars, composers and performers, Leon & Malia have produced some of the islands'' best music. They are Hawaii''s favorite children''s entertainers and songwriters.

Malia has a background in theatre arts. She began in Honolulu at age of seven. Highlights of her work in theatre include Honolulu Theater for Youth, the University of Hawaii, the Oregon Shakespearean Festival, Northwestern University, West Coast Tours with the White Oaks Touring Repertory Company, director of the Cascade Coast Children''s Theatre, with special emphasis on children''s theatre, musical comedy and Shakespeare.

Malia created and directs two popular programs for early childhood education: MusicTime! and Malia''s Magical Storytime. These programs present to young children an exciting introduction to the world of music; helping to develop the child''s understanding and appreciation for music and its related creative arts.
