Mario Parisi, a self-taught drummer/guitar player and songwriter now has his first solo realese which is appropriately self titled. The music incorporates many interesting sounds and ideas. Blending much of the 70''s and 80''s art rock music int something a little new and a little bit of the beaten musical path. Songs like Start of the new year, Cold room and I Zombie, to name just a few, show you how fresh and different his approach to recording and songwriting are. In addition to that much of sound effects, percussion and vocal parts were recorded by mario himself on a simple easy to use analog 4-track recorder. Songs such as The bronze-Age Man, The spell of circular entrapment, Blue light and Charcharodon Carcharias were all recorded this way.
