Michelle has been singing since the womb, writing her own lyrics & melodies all the while. She went on to study opera at University and the Banff Center of Arts. In 1999, leaving opera behind to persue a career more condusive to her creative urges, Michelle became the voice of Mercury Sound Cartel. In the four years with Mercury, she had the opportunity to hone her skills with consistent studio recording, live performances and television appearances. A couple of Mercury''s tracks can be heard on the hit Showtime series "The L Word".

For the past year, Michelle has continued to develop her own unique style with influences all over the musical spectrum. To help her fully express her audio dreams she teamed up with producer/musical genius Alan Wong-Moon. Together they have recently created the album know as "Glass". The players on the album include such talents as Scott McCargar, Doug Fury, Omar Hashim and Alison
Gorman. Several songs have been featured in the short film "Losing Eggs" and the Showcase pilot "Stacey and Mary"("Best Short Comedy" 2005 Houston Film Fetsival). Now that the "Glass" is completed, she''s ready for EVERYTHING!!!! She plans to tour the globe.
