Born in Tucson, Arizona, Mia Boyle grew in many diverse areas of the country including the Bay Area, New York City, New England and Los Angeles. She has spent the past 12 years living and playing music in Seattle, Washington. Having several bands to her credit, including the critically acclaimed MOXIE, she finally put out a solo record in 1998. The stripped-down acoustic I Am A Diver was met with unexpected adulation and garnered her a spot in the Bumbershoot Festival. This album seems to have a life of it''s own. Inspired by the longevity of her first solo album Mia is currently in the studio recording a follow-up to I Am A Diver.
