But, in the final stages of completing The Girl Beyond the Waves, I came to believe that even the most deeply personal experience is also the most truly universal experience. And, that there is a healing in the sharing...for everyone.
All of us have sustained a loss. It comes in many forms. Loss of innocense; loss of youth; loss of a job. And so, with the untimely and sudden death of my partner in marriage, Maya Korenn, I offer this musical chronicle of these emotions...deeply felt.
