The pianist for AngelKIDS at Christmas is award winning Juanita Faas. Juanita is a concert pianist also trained in jazz, latin jazz, choral presentations, and musical composition. Touring since 2005 her venues have included a wide eclectic range. From The Joan & Sandford I. Weil recital hall in Carnegie Hall NY and Presidents Park at The White House Washington DC to food lines in Jacksonville FL, Anderson IN, Saskatoon Sask. etc. Juanita has released 5 CD''s and her next is due in late 2008 or early 2009.
This is a kids CD but that doesn’t mean they don’t deserve to hear exceptional good music by a world class musician.
Dr. Carl Shipley, president co-founder and COO of AngelAID (a nonprofit charity for terminally ill, critically ill, homeless children and children in a life threatening situation) in Jacksonville FL. along with Juanita created this CD as a fund raising project for AngelAID. This CD is not about sadness, but about the life fun and joy in the AngelKIDS. The CD is dedicated to them and inspired by them.
