Scott and Racquel Badalament Tirrell are soulmates who''ve known each other 20 years (in this life anyway). Raising their two little boys has slowed down their ability to record their massive catalog of original works (about 300 at last count), but they have managed to squeak out 3 CDs in the last 11 years. Classically trained musicians with BFA''s in performance from Purchase College, they have always been eclectic musicians. Dabbling in jazz compositions, performing in rock bands (they met in one when they were 15 and 16 ("STAND-BY"!)), and sweating it out giving classical music recitals in Greenich Village, with their Manhattan Maestros ever correcting and honing technique, Racquel and Scott love to explore many music forms. "mindwanderings" features many of their jazzy, feel-good compositions.
