This new easy and pleasant way to build confidence onstage was created by musicians for musicians and their unique concerns.

Do you ever feel jittery? Lightheaded? Or even afraid when you are onstage? Do you feel like you play so much better at home? Do your hands shake on your instrument? Or your voice feel dry and quivery? You are not alone! You can do something positive to change it.

What are Magical Musical Affirmations?

Affirmations are short, carefully constructed phrases that should be repeated many times to be effective. We recorded several useful affirmations on a CD with pleasant musical backgrounds, to make them easy and enjoyable to listen to repeatedly. Each track on the CD contains a single spoken affirmation, repeated every 20 seconds over a 5 minute period.

Why do we use musical backgrounds?

Sometimes emotions can get in the way of your mind accepting the affirmation. Music helps soothe the emotions so that the affirmation can sink in. Music helps the affirmations to flow into the mind more easily.

We ourselves, tried many different affirmation techniques. And we found that using a recorded affirmation with a musical background was by far the easiest (and the most likely to continue holding our interest).

What specific affirmations are included on the CD?

Your CD includes 4 affirmations that were carefully constructed to address the most common problems affecting musicians while performing:

Tracks 1-3: I feel grounded and present onstage

Tracks 4-6: I am joyfully immersed in my music and connected to my audience while performing

Tracks 7-9: My body works in harmony with my musical intentions while performing

Tracks 10-12: I effortlessly remember all of my parts while performing

Each affirmation is recorded on three individual tracks, each with a different musical background. So you can choose to listen to the one(s) that you like most or that best suit your current mood.

Who is behind Magical Musical Affirmations?

Magical Musical Affirmations were created by Hobbyhorse, a progressive folk/rock duo. We started recording affirmations for our own use and liked them so much that we wanted to share them.
