An interesting thing about this recording is that the vocal tracks by Elizabeth Riley were not recorded with the intent of them being played together. They were two separate efforts, intended to be vocal solos. To my surprise they sounded great together. Same goes for Terrence Karn''s tabla tracks.

This has a mix of a live string section with electronic strings that make a beautiful texture. It''s a very simple piece with a flute lead, but I think it has a warmth to it that can grab you if it catches you at the right time.
