Brett Ryland is an unsigned New Zealand Singer/Songwriter curently based in Brighton UK. His songs are a combination of mid-tempo easy listening/pop/country - with clear lyrics and harmonies, along with lyrical ballads. The release of his debut studio-produced album called "BrokenHearted Dreams" is essentially a limited-release, intended to showcase his songwriting for potential publishing opportunities. Any funds obtained from sales of this album will go towards the production of his next album, for which most of the material is already written.
For "BrokenHearted Dreams" Brett has produced a warm-sounding quality production using 24-track analogue technology (minus the digital perfection) recorded at Redroom-Studios in Brighton, and mastered by Denis Blackham of Skye Mastering. A theme of relationships runs through all the songs, telling a story from the initial euphoria of meeting someone new to final resolution of a breakup, with very honest and confronting lyrics.
