She returned from a Summer 2003 trip to Costa Rica determined to find a way to raise support for Gail Nystrom''s Costa Rican Humanitarian Foundation, which she decided to do in the way she knew best - through music. Assembling a talented team of sponsors and musicians, Shannon created Dream of a Forgotten People to encourage others to lend their support to Ms. Nystrom''s life-saving work.
