Sixthboro is an original rock & blues band from the South ( South Queens, NYC that is. Broad Channel and Rockaway Beach to be exact). They span three generations of musical knowledge and experience. Although raised in NYC, the band members were born in Kentucky, Tennessee, Oklahoma and Brooklyn, giving their music that hard city edge with a smooth southern feel.
Road Less Traveled is a collection of songs that capture everyday life in New York, from "Lays Down Easy" about the working girls on 11th Avenue to "Chorus of Silence" capturing the feelings of loss on 9/11 to the acoustic "The Crane" inspired by the beauty of Jamaica Bay.
