The group SICKADOE consists of two members, Nick Benn, and Teezo. Both group members were born and raised in Oakland, Ca. Nick Benn and Teezo have been friends since elementary school. Both began writing raps in Junior High School. They started out as competitors in the daily rap battles that occurred on the playground of Frick Junior High School. A short time later Teezo and Nick Benn joined forces to form SICKADOE.

SICKADOE has been pursuing music seriously since 1997. SICKADOE released their self titled debut album in 1998. SICKADOE enjoyed some underground success due to their debut album. SICKADOE has also performed in numerous nightclubs throughout the city of Oakland. Since that time SICKADOE has worked on a number of projects with various artists throughout the Bay Area. In November 2004 SICKADOE will release their second album entitled "PRODUCT OF THE U.S.A."
