Disc of Light is the team of Occupational Therapist and Chronic Pain Mangement specialist Eve Kennedy-Spaien and her husband, composer and musician Kevin Kennedy-Spaien.

The Beach is especially designed to teach you (or your clients) to invoke a "Relaxation Response", essentially the opposite of the "Fight-or-Flight Response". The Relaxation Response has been the subject of much research by Dr. Herbert Benson, with whom Eve has studied.

The music on our programs is designed to be reflective and introspective, similar in style to artists such as Adrian Belew, Jaco Pastorius and Terry Reilly. Some might refer to it as "New Age".

Because different people have different needs for achieving relaxation, all of our guided meditation CDs come with both narrated and narrative-free selections.
