Born and raised in the hills of West Virginia plays a big part of his love and style of country music he proudly writes, arranges and sings today. Sonny''s father, also a musician, had Sonny listening to the likes of Hank Williams, Johnny Cash and Merle Haggard to name a few.

In search of the Rock n'' Roll scene, Sonny fronted bands such as, "Kickazz", "Taz", "Gin Willy" and "Scarlet", with his song writing, musical arrangements and singing. The band Scarlet also took the title of "#1 Rock n'' Roll Band" in Detroit, Mi at the Miller Rock Off after winning in the mid 80''s.

Now being influenced by all the great country music of today, Sonny has a unique style that compares to none. From the driving beat of songs like "Social Disease" to ballads such as "Love You Again", Sonny''s emotions have reached out to all life experiences.

With Sonny''s unique vocals and writing style and the countless songs he has already written, you''ll be hearing from Sonny for a long time to come.
