This accomplished artist (known for obvious reasons as Sue "Beehive" Palmer) is the former musical partner of blues diva Candye Kane. She fronted her own swing band Tobacco Road, for 12 years, received numerous San Diego Music Awards from the community at large, including Best Blues Album, 2003, for "Live at Dizzy''s."

She has appeared on stage with many local and national artists,and been lauded by music critics who compare her "dazzling rolling-boil rhythms" to the "startling accuracy of an Oscar de la Hoya uppercut."
