SullivanBurton (Shannan Sullivan and Bruce Burton) started out as a duo consisting of two good friends who shared a passion for music and a penchant for adventure. Shannan and Bruce had previously played together in Irish/Celtic bands spanning a period of several years. They finally decided to collaborate in August of 2003. The remainder of that year and the following one turned out nicely successful for the brand new group. In December 2004 the addition of Bob Moore took place and rounded the band out to a solid trio. The music created is both traditional and contemporary Irish/Celtic colored and tempered with influences from other genres such as folk, swing, ragtime, world, pop and rock. The group is also gradually introducing it''s own music into performances.
