Details:
Tom Haring was born in Galena, IL and began taking piano lessons at the age of 4. He continued to take lessons until the age 13 when he started to lose interest in the structural training using piano lesson books. His interest in playing piano was rekindled at the age of 14 when he began to work at a summer camp where some of his co-workers also played musical instruments. They would get together after work and play music just for fun. He began to compose music that he enjoyed personally and decided to pursue further training to enhance his playing abilities. Most of the songs on this first CD were composed by Tom when he was 16 years old, and recorded before he graduated from high school. His goal is to become a music recording artist. As of now, he is 18 years old and attending his first year at a community college to pursue a bachelor''s degree in music composition. He is also getting personal piano coaching, teaching piano students, and working on a second cd which will contain a similar style, but with more instruments.
