The compositions cover a wide range of sonic soundscapes and lyrical commentary from the upbeat pop of Jewel in Your Crown, to the spiritually reflective acoustic poetry of The Painter and the Sea. Though merely a babe in the heydey of the Summer of Love, Jeff poignantly captures the spirit and the dream of the Woodstock generation in the lyrics to his song Flower Child in a way that would even make Bob Dylan misty eyed (and perhaps jealous).
