Whatsa is a New York City based band comprised of an all-star lineup of drummer Aaron Comess of ''The Spin Doctors'', saxophonist Hans Teuber and trumpet player Todd Horton from Ani Difranco''s latest touring band, bassist Mamadou Ba of Harry Belafonte''s band, guitarist Teddy Kumpel and keyboardist Pat Daugherty of Princess Superstar and New York Electric Piano fame. Rooted in Jazz, Funk, Rock and African Music, their music is an amalgam of styles with a strong improvisational element. "Magica" is a must for daredevils and astronauts.
