In my own words:

This is the first song I wrote on the piano. The last track, is the demo recording done in the early morning with a slight cold. Although I got the song produced, the demo track still shines as the the most intimate and simple piece.

The song describes, New York and how much I loved it so. It is not only a place but a being. New York is heart. It is a center. It is lonely and it is cold. This song is about love in the Big Apple, and how I would endure the cold of October to be within the tapestry of comfort.
