Paperboys'' bassist Steve Mitchell steps out of his bass-player role and into the role of singer-songwriter on this great collection of original songs. Steve has been a long- time writing partner of Paperboys'' front man Tom Landa as well as the leader of his own band, Yardsale. On "Sweet Pea" Steve has created a sound that is rich and sonically warm. Aided by banjo, lap steel, acoustic guitar and bass, the songs move effortlessly from folk to Americana to bluegrass and country.
