Details:
Born in Los Angeles, California, the Detroit native spent 2 years at the University of Michigan for electrical engineering, and 4 years in the contemporary jazz band, Magic. The band won several competitions including the Budweiser Showcase and the Ann Arbor Music Festival Award.

He has been with the band Risque, a high energy Top 40 band out of Michigan, for 19 years.

Inspired by Steve Roach, John Serrie and Mars Lasars, Yon has been drawn into the "Hearts of Space" influence, and is currently working on a Smooth Jazz project with bassist, Errol Sanders.
