In the past Robi played as sideman with the great Ginger Baker, with Andy J Forest, with James Tomphson, Ronnie Jones and many more, but now he leads his own band.
Several radios in New York City area have choosen songs from Robi''s last cd "DO YOU KNOW?" after Bob Putignano, president of NY blues & jazz society, start trasmitting Robi''s music from his program "Sounds of Blue"

My real goal is to play the music I feel. I do not try to play like the great black masters did, I do not try to play the tradition, I do not try to play a new kind of blues, I do not try to recuperate sounds from the past or something......
