Details:
Art & Soul is a pop/rock band from the Azores islands. Composing songs since 1995, Luis (vocal) and Mario (keyboards & synths) are the founders of a project that wishes to go beyond their native islands. A great capacity for composing wonderful melodies and songs that easily reaches the hearts of any listener, specially the ballads, is the strongest line to point out about this Portuguese band. Luis voice ranges between smooth and passionately strong, reminding Michael Bolton. Mario is a talented keyboardist, arranger and composer with several instrumental works including electro/dance, contemporary jazz and film music. Michael Rangel is the newly arrived guitar virtuoso that will take part in future projects. He is not in the ''Gold on blue'' CD.
