Minister Bernard G. Hash recently released his first solo CD, entitled
"Jesus Is Mine", written and performed by him. During his early years he sang
With a gospel Quartet group called The Fantastic Royal Aires of Roanoke, Va.,
For about twenty five (25) years.

After several of the members decided to branch off into other areas of the
Ministry and other groups. Then he decided to go it alone. He has been in concert
While part of The Royal Aires with many great artist over the years, such as the
Violin Aires, The Mighty Clouds of Joy, The Gospel Keynotes, The Blind Boys,
And The Ever Ready''s, just to name a few.

Upon his graduation from Patrick Henry High School,(1976) he volunteered
To serve his country in The U.S. Marine Corps, where he served his active duty term
At Kaneohe Marine Corps Air Station, Kaneohe Hawaii (1977-1980). He received
The Honorable Discharge and The Good Conduct Medal from The Marines and was
Promoted to Lance Corporal.

After his return to Virginia he joined The U.S. Army Reserve unit in Salem
Va. (80th Div. Training Group) to be with his father, SFC Marvin P.L. Hash. There
He served from 1981 -1996. During his tour of duty with the Army, He became The
Dining Facility Manager and received several awards and medals for his outstanding
Performance of duty.

Among his medals are The Army Achievement Medal in which he received
Twice, The Army Commendation Medal and many other awards and medals from his unit.
Upon his early retirement due to down sizing of the military he received a plaque from his
Unit for Outstanding Service and Devotion to Duty from 1983-1996.

In 1998 he excepted the call to the Ministry , where he is an associate
Minister at The St. Matthew Word Of Life Fellowship Church (C.O.G.A.) He also is an
Anointed Trumpet player, and plays for the Choir and Praise Teams of his church, where
The Honorable Bishop Charles Hash is the pastor.

Also among his accomplishments , he is a Distinguished Member of The
International Poet Society, from which he received the Poet Of Merit Award in 2001.
His poems are inspiring and uplifting, and he plans to record them in the future to
Music.
