A former student of Jazz saxophone giant Don Lanphere,
Christopher also wrote songs for Roy Buchanan''s group. Coming from jazz,folk & Blues, he has arrived at a very different music--playful, sensual and mysterious. He is a man of the age, following the inner thread of thought back to the wellsprings of song. The lyrics evoke a special place, like Maxfield Parrish for the 21st Century. Both childlike and sexy at the same time, tales of comfort and whirlpool love. The voice is raspy, tender and grounded in the mess that is life.
