The first song ''Oranges and lemons'' was written in collaboration with Wayne Dunn who also sang lead vocals.
Wayne also did the midi drums and hand percussion.
It is a great song having had a massive input by all the staff at No 34 Harlow Moor Drive Harrogate.
Tony Jones played great stones and sang support vocals along with Martina, Ann, Kirsty, Marcella and Dawn.
Ann is no longer with us, when she died I think it affected us all.
The other pieces on the album were done at nights or whenever I could work on a piece.
''July song'' took quite a long time to work out the chords.
The first two guitar parts were recorded in analogue on a 4 track tape recorder then transfered to the PC.
Analogue still sounds super even cassette-based. Recently I was listening to some recordings of the sea I had done on a walkman recorder and was quite blown away by the quality when compared to a mini disc which produces quite a hard sound.

When I did that one, I was in the garage and took the drum parts from an old Yamaha organ then built it up with hand percussion.
When I had finished it I felt that it had worked.
''Good'' & ''bad'' are not appropiate words to use for the evaluation of a piece. although I suppose you could use the word bad if it had been badly recorded or something
The cover is taken from a photograph I took of the wall paintings on one of the walls leading down to a tomb
in the Valley of the Kings, Egypt.
The star came about by accident when I was trying to come up with a suitable logo for a University project.
