For most people, Christmas music evokes warm feelings of good times; family, friends, childhood, kids. It''s amazing how many musical artists from every imaginable background will take time to do a traditional Christmas tune, just because it makes them feel good. Somewhere along the mid 1990''s, in between a rock melody and probably some country tune she was working on, Cris found herself strumming a Christmas song or two. As with all her music, the traditional songs became an adaption to her style.

Suddenly a project (or an obsession as I call them) formed, and along with original arrangements of popular Christmas songs, some light and lively new tunes were born. Put it all together and it ended up as an inspiring and extremely pleasant holiday CD that entertains everybody from the little kids to the parents and grandparents. Sometimes it''s hard to find Christmas music that seems fresh and comfortably familiar at the same time, but Cris has managed to do exactly that. So listen, have a Merry Christmas, and enjoy.
