With more than twenty years experience playing the guitar, Fred Christoffer hopes others will enjoy his musical insight and creativity with his debut album ELECTRICITY.

This smooth jazz CD is a blending of his love of the guitar with his love of smooth jazz. The somewhat odd track names reflect the words commonly used in his day job as an electrical engineer.

He is a fan of smooth jazz greats like Peter White, George Benson, Larry Carlton, Al Jareau, Boney James just to name a few. Other music that has influenced him over the years includes blues, folk, rock, Latin, country and various great bands of the past and present.

While Fred plays a number of different guitars (and a banjo) that include the acoustic 12-string, solid body electric and standard six-string, his favorite is the six-string classical cutaway. He can use a flat pick to play, but he likes finger-style picking better.
