Joel Westerfield is a grandpa many times over and a school bus driver from Jacksonville, Illinois. He created this cd with the help of his family and friends who play various instruments and share in some of the vocals. His son-in-law plays lead and bass guitars, his daughter plays drums and back-ups, his daughter-in-law sings the final song on the cd, and two of his granddaughters have guest vocals on " Grandpa''s Rockin''". Joel plays acoustic guitar, harmonicas, keyboards, and has written all but one of the songs which was written by his daughter and son-in-law.

Joel hopes that by making the songs of ages and stages of his life , that perhaps his listening audience , as well as his grandchildren , will find some inspiration and motivation to follow thier dreams. After all, " If grandpa can , maybe I can too!"
