Bob Wall has been making original music in and among the local Houston music scene for decades. A founding member of Bone Simple and Slow Children, this year he has struck out on his own as a singer, songwriter and performer of all-new solo material. His new stuff is described as folk, americana, acoustic and generall-rockin-tha-howse. Space City Rock had this to say about his singing: "His cigarette-scarred voice brings to mind troubadours like Steve Earle, Bruce Springsteen, Jon Dee Graham, and Tom Waits without seeming like a cheap copy, and that''s saying something." Bob plays a mean guitar, but he''s multi-dexterous and plays a good number of the instruments on this CD, including the trumpet and bass.
