I was called by God at the age of 8. Life''s handed me its ups and downs - sanctification: what a process! I started writing songs in middle school, but really became serious my junior year of high school.

An accident my freshman year of college left me blind in one eye and my father left a couple years following - all of which have grown me in my relationship with Christ and inspired much songwriting.

After graduation in 2004 with a degree in music education from the University of North Texas, I spent a year teaching choir in a middle school in Dallas and I now teach choir at a high school in Colleyville, Texas. I am very involved at my home church, Countryside Bible Church, in the college and music ministries.
